NOERG Cochrane Group

Purpose of this Group

This group is to enable networking for Cochrane reviews in the North of England.

Over the years, NOERG has successfully facilitated clinical and research collaboration. It is expected that a subgroup - NOERG Cochrane Group, will enable networking for Cochrane reviews. This will focus on reviews pertaining to reproductive medicine.

• We are hopeful that this will help trainees or consultants who wish to get started with Cochrane reviews to contact potential reviewers as listed via this network

• The group can also provide advice to the individuals who are struggling during review by directing them to the available resources

• The group will not be expected to do reviews for others

The provisional plan:

• We will contact Cochrane Group to gather reviews that need updating, that are in connection to reproductive medicine

• All the potential reviewers and reviews can be listed on NOERG website

• Other allied practitioners such as nurses, embryologists and counsellors to be involved in the reviews

• To explore possibility of getting funding to undertake reviews in various different centres
